Florida’s goal is to increase recycling rates to 75% statewide

In 2008 the Florida Legislature introduced a goal to increase statewide recycling rates to 75%, and in 2010 a plan was put into place to make that happen. The plan is to achieve this recycling goal by 2020.

This is quite an ambitious goal, and if achieved, would put Florida as one of the top recycling states in the country. Here’s a few things being done to work toward 75%:
