Brockton promotes recycling and reducing waste by donating unwanted goods that are in good condition. For items that cannot be recycled, the City will pick up one bulky item per week. For all other types of debris that cannot be recycled, put out for bulk waste, or collected in the weekly garbage, rent a roll-off dumpster.

Roll-off containers come in various sizes to accommodate all types of projects:
- 10 yard dumpster - 12 ft x 8 ft x 3.5 ft
- 20 yard dumpster - 22 ft x 8 ft x 4 ft
- 30 yard dumpster - 22 ft x 8 ft x 6 ft
- 40 yard dumpster - 22 ft x 8 ft x 8 ft
