When we were about to undergo renovations, we wanted to rent a dumpster for some household junk we were disposing of. We rented a 40-yard from Area Waste Solutions. The rental was supposed to be for a week, but they said they couldn’t pick it up at the intended time, so I had two free extra days to keep it. My only problem was with the way the dumpster was hinged—it only opened one way. Because of this, we had to move it away from the house. Also, since I didn’t have a fax machine, they required that I be there to sign for the dumpster. I wish this could’ve been done online, but the driver was considerate enough to call me when he was on his way there, which gave me half an hour to get to my place.
