Vets Haul Junk was established in 2015 after the owner, Joseph Martinez, returned from a combat tour to Afghanistan. Suffering from PTSD related trauma, Joseph’s neighbor asked if he could help move some items. This small ask from his neighbor provided Joseph with such a sense of well-being and pride that he decided to start Vets Haul Junk. He chose to start his business in Stafford, VA, a military town adjacent to Quantico USMC base, so he could begin serving veterans in the area with junk removal services.
