If you already did the demolition or cleanout, then estimating debris and junk is much simpler.

Simply estimate the total amount of debris by doing a size comparison.
If it looks like you have less than 10 stoves’ worth of debris, then a 10 yard dumpster is likely all you will need (if the weight limit will accommodate the weight of your debris).
If you have more than 20 but less than 40, go with the 30 yard dumpster.
